This vintage wristwatch is a beautiful Gruen Veri-Thin Precision from the early 1940's in beautiful condition and is running great!

The Swiss cushion-shaped movement is caliber 930 with 17 jewels with a Breguet hairspring.

The tonneau dial and case are in beautiful condition! The silver-white dial has a light patina and features beautiful gold applied Arabic numerals, gold sword-shaped hour and minute hands, and a gold stick sub-second, with a black minute track. The dial is signed Gruen, Veri-Thin, Precision, and Switzerland. The case measures 22.3 x 25.6 mm's and is 14 karat solid yellow gold, made by Star Watch Case Company. It is brilliantly shiny, showing very little wear- excellent given its age! The plastic crystal has been freshly polished. The style number is indicated on the inside of the case- 457.

The two-piece brown strap is simulated leather with a bold alligator print and a gold buckle, measuring 15.7 mm where it meets the lugs.

This watch is running great and keeping excellent time!

This Gruen Veri-Thin Precision wristwatch in 14 karat solid yellow gold is an absolutely beautiful timepiece and deserves to be enjoyed! It would be excellent paired with business casual or formal attire.

Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
